You can process credit cards online directly through your own merchant account or through third party processor. You need to setup one or more of the payment gateways integrated into Summer Cart - PayPal (Website Standard), Authorize.Net and 2Checkout. Google Checkout is also supported. Summer Cart uses built-in protected modules to securely send and receive payment transaction data to and from the payment gateways.

If you have a merchant account you can also process credit cards and checks offline, i.e. the billing information is collected on your website, and then when you process the order, you enter the customers credit card information into your credit card terminal.

Whenever a new order is placed on your store you will receive an order confirmation email, automatically sent by the Summer Cart system. All order information is also available in the Admin panel.
